Eye Exercises to Improve Your Vision - Naturally Bring Back Your 20-20 Vision |
Although many people put a lot of faith in glasses and contact lenses, there are many eye exercises to improve vision effectively. In fact, if you use the right vision improvement exercises, you could get back your 20/20 vision.
Do you find that hard to believe? Perhaps this may seem too good to be true for you especially if you have been using glasses for quite some time already and have lost faith in natural methods. But right now I’m going to tell you that it is quite possible.
Before anything else, understand that not all vision problems can be fixed using the natural methods. However, majority of issues concerning nearsightedness and farsightedness can be cured naturally.
Understand the Root Cause
It is interesting to know that the number of people needing corrective glasses, contacts, and surgery has grown. There are more people today with vision problems than 10 years ago and this can be attributed to several factors. One main cause is the lifestyle that we have. People spend too much time in front of the computer or television and these activities can seriously strain the eyes.
The Quick Fix
Often, people resort to the use of corrective glasses and contacts in order to go about their day-to-day activities without having to deal with impaired eyesight. These things are fine but they can trigger the eyes to become lazy. When this happens, sight deterioration will not be far behind. As stronger and stronger lenses are prescribed by the doctor, we are not really doing anything to address the root cause of the problem and time will come when these “vision aids” will become permanently glued to the eyes.
The Real Solution
The eyes are made up of muscles and just like any part of the body it will need movement, specifically vision improvement exercises. One good exercise I would recommend is Palming, wherein the eyes will be allowed to relax thus avoiding strains. To do this, you would only need to make your hands warm by rubbing them against each other for a minute and then cover the eyes for 3 minutes. Do this several times a day and make sure that when covered, no light will enter. This is just one of the eye exercises to improve vision.
There are many forms of exercises that can be used for the eye, and in fact, many are being used in classrooms to help children keep their eyesight healthy. It was Dr. William H. Bates who first created such techniques in 1880 and over time, many revisions were made to ensure the techniques become very effective. The bates method for better eyesight without glasses has been used around the world and many have already benefited from it.
Optometrists have made a living by prescribing eyeglasses and contacts to people with vision problems. Medical doctors have also introduced the effective yet highly expensive laser surgery to treat vision problems. But what most people do not know is that the bates method for better eyesight without glasses can be the solution and the sooner you give it a try, the closer you will be to getting back that 20/20 vision.
